How to use
- Spread the colour neat or diluted evenly over clean, dry hair.
- Leave on for a maximum of 20 minutes.
- Rinse and style.
To dilute, mix with the INSIGHT Direct Pigment Mask or your usual mask or conditioner — more mask means a softer, more natural result. Wear gloves: direct pigments stain skin, nails, towels and surfaces. Protect your hairline with barrier cream and rinse the shower afterwards. Not intended for use on eyelashes or eyebrows.

FAQ
Do I need a developer or activator?
No — that's the point. These are direct pigments, ready to use as supplied.
How long does it last?
It fades gradually over several washes, depending on the shade, your hair's porosity and how often you wash. Vivids on pre-lightened hair fade fastest.
Will it cover grey?
No. Direct pigments deposit tone; they don't cover grey reliably. For grey coverage, use INSIGHT INCOLOR permanent colour.
Will it lighten my hair?
No — there's no lift. Colour can only be added, not removed. Vivid shades need a pre-lightened base to show up.
Does it stain?
Yes, especially the bright shades. Wear gloves, use barrier cream on the hairline, and use old towels.
Is a patch test needed?
These contain no PPD or oxidative dyes, but any cosmetic can cause a reaction. If you have sensitive skin or a history of reactions to hair products, test on a small area first.
