Choosing your shade

First number = depth: 1 is black, 10 is the lightest platinum blonde.

After the dot = tone: .0 natural, .1 ash, .4 copper, .5 mahogany, .6 red, .8 brunette. A double number (e.g. .11, .44, .66) means an intense tone.

How to use

Mix: 1 part colour to 1.5 parts Dev Plus developer (e.g. 50ml colour + 75ml developer) in a non-metallic bowl.

Apply to dry, unwashed hair, wearing gloves. Section the hair and start where grey is most resistant, e.g. the temples.

First-time colour: apply to lengths and ends first, about 1–2cm from the scalp, leave 15 minutes, then apply fresh mix to the roots.

Root touch-up: apply to the regrowth only.

Leave for the full time on the leaflet inside the box (usually around 35 minutes).

Rinse: add a little warm water, massage to emulsify, rinse until the water runs clear, then shampoo and condition with colour-care products.
Safety: always do an allergy skin test 48 hours before every colour, even if you have used the product before. Read the leaflet in the box. Not for eyebrows or eyelashes. Not intended for use on persons under the age of 16.
